Hi all, I'm Ben, aka Intenxe
It's great to meet you! You might know me from AfterHour, where I currently post at underneath the same handle (@Intenxe), and probably found me due to my Intuitive Machines ($LUNR) due diligence document that I published on there, but if not, let me give you a little bit of background about myself.
I'm currently a West Coast USA-based 24 year old just looking to earn myself financial freedom and success through the ways of investing and trading smartly. I'm a college student, currently in the final year of pursuing my film degree, as well as a soldier in the United States Army, where I serve as a 19D cavalry scout, focusing on the tasks of armored and dismounted reconnaissance, intelligence, and direct/indirect combat and combat support. My main passion in my professional life, besides the love that I have for what I do in the Army, is creative content creation; I own and operate. as CEO and head cinematographer, a full-service video production company and absolutely love what I do, the places I get to go, and the people I get to meet and work alongside.
My trading, investment, and AfterHour career
Trading and investing, to me, is much more than just a "set it and forget it" passive type of ordeal, as I consider it partially a hobby and partially a job (as is anything involving the process of generating money). It's a active mindset, heavily involved with controlling emotion, maintaining discipline, and growing personal education and financial literacy.
Maintaining profitability and beating out the S&P500, statistically, is very difficult to do on a consistent basis. Studies suggest that less than 25% (and I'm sure the actual number is quite lower) of retail traders beat out the S&P500. I've been in this boat many times, losing trade after trade just hopping on the Reddit bandwagon (thanks WSB), before I set out on my goal of learning core aspects of trading and investing to enrich my future.
Over the Spring and Summer of 2024, I set out to properly educate myself through books, YouTube gurus, podcasts, paper trading, journaling, and any other means I could to truly obtain a grasp of the complexities of the stock market and how it operates.
While still young and slightly inexperienced, as this is my first real year of trading, I have gained success in the trading and investment space consistently beating out the S&P500 month-over-month since I started legitimately trading and investing with real money earlier this year. While I know that this trend could break at any point, due to numerous variables, I continue to remain confident and optimistic in my ability to multiply my money as time goes on through smart trading and investing, with continued success beating the S&P500.
I got started on AfterHour in September of 2024, being just over the 4000th user on the platform. I found AfterHour through reddit, on a post by SirJack, the creator of the platform. It has immensely helped further my education in the market and has given me great community interactions as well as trades and investments that have garnered much success since joining. In December of 2024, I set out to provide quality due diligence to the AfterHour community regarding one of my own personal favorite stocks and companies, Intuitive Machines ($LUNR). Since initially posting, this document, along with my continued posts relating to it and other aspects of the market, have been received overwhelmingly positively! Since then, I've decided to provide quality due diligence, similar in nature to The $LUNR Initiative, for other stocks and companies.
Why this platform?
As many of you may know, my original DD document, "The $LUNR Initiative" was published and distributed on AfterHour via Google Docs. While easily accessible on desktop, the mobile experience lacked and made certain details, namely photos, hard to read. Through a fellow AfterHour user and investor, I discovered this wonderful platform which will let me update DD more easily, ensure personal integrity and transparency through live records, and interact better with the fellow AfterHour community.

While there are no guarantees that I may perform a deep dive and complete study on a certain stock or ticker, I will take all requests into serious consideration.
